OilN2 prevents the oxidation of oil in reservoirs by removing oxygen and moisture from the surrounding air. The self-contained environmental apparatus uses thermal conduction rod technology to continually remove oxygen and wet air from the reservoir and store it in a removable cartridge. The units are easily attached directly to the vent port of oil reservoirs. The units provide a clean, closed oil reservoir, blanketing the oil with nitrogen air to prevent contamination, emulsification, oxidation, rust, microbial activity, and other problems that are common in open reservoirs.
